Something Borrowed is the name of a furniture exhibition by Malmstens college at Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair. Focusing on sustainability, the students came up with the idea of using only borrowed materials to build their expo stand, so that they could return them in reusable condition when the fair was over. The exhibition’s visual identity is permeated by this concept – all of the set design in the photo backdrops are made of borrowed industry waste material, and the logo is inspired by the notion of taking different-shaped waste materials and moulding them into letters.
